How does Library Book Fair work?
We create a FREE web site that your school or library can use to collect donations with an online fundraiser. 100% of every donation will be used to purchase new library books from MidAmerica Books. A "virtual book fair" can take place all over the country...you are not limited to your building, or even just your community. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, businesses and organizations can participate from anywhere!
How do I promote the Book Fair?
We will provide a link that can be placed on your school or library's web site.
We will also provide you with customized literature, as well as e-marketing items that can be forwarded to anyone who might be interested in giving the gift of literacy.
How will the donors be recognized?
For every $20, we will create a customized bookplate that you can place inside a book. We will also send a "thank you" note on your behalf to each person who donates money.
How do I keep track of the money raised?
The web site will keep track of every dollar that is raised. A graphic displayed on your web site will illustrate your goal and how close you are to reaching it. When the online library book fair ends, your MidAmerica Sales Representative can help you select books that will best suit the needs of your library.
